This unit looks at supporting KS3 students in beginning a piece of creative writing by reading and analysing story openings from a range of literature, both classic and modern.
Lesson 02 looks at The Book Thief and focuses on the skills of writing a first person narrative and addressing the reader.
Optional Sp&L homework is included as well, aiming to get students comfortable presenting to a class.
