A 22 page booklet which practises the ‘Yo, usted,nosotros & Ellos/Ellas’ conjugations of a selection of regular -ar verbs from the new Spec vocabulary list. Repetition is the best way to learn patterns and this can be set to complete independently, as homework as a ‘go-to guide’ for in lessons. The main structure is a ’ look, cover, write, write, check ’ for each verb, followed by a quick retrieval activity to embed learning.

With areas to add teacher script prompts and reminders to take the register, this proforma reminds teachers to stick to the structure whilst engaged in the busyness of a classroom. An introduction to role plays, aimed at KS3 pupils. This would work for Y7 - Y9 pupils. This particularly works well with Y9 as it provides pupils who aren’t continuing with languages next Year with useful phrases for if they ever travel to Francophone country.
