Taken from the 2023 exam for AQA GCSE Computer Science 8525 spec, I have taken the question apart and made a database using DB Browser for SQLite with questions for students to attempt so that students can understand how the database works and learn SELECT, FROM, INSERT INTO statements too. Updates Updated to fix an error where a student is not displayed in the students table but it is displayed in the worksheet. Updated to now include a basic set of lesson slides with a Do Now Activity. Last updated: 24/01/2025

End of year Geography mock

An old geography mock paper I wrote for some students in KS3/KS4. It’s free to use as there’s quite a bit of content and I’m sure you can print off pages that you need instead of the whole thing! Hope this is useful

Macbeth - Lesson 1 - The Play

(0)
A useful resource for teaching Macbeth across all age groups. This lesson looks at the difference between a play and a novel and also allows your students to act out a scene from Act 3 Scene 3. It is quite a short lesson however, you could adapt it so that students have to answer an exam question based on their opinion or from a past paper.
The CPU

The CPU

A pretty good lesson powerpoint going over the CPU in a computer. Students are asked as a starter to think of what components go on a motherboard along with a few other questions. Learning Objective: Describe and Understand the function of the CPU Outcomes: State the purpose of the CPU and describe the function of it. Explain how common characteristics of CPUs affect their performance.
