(0)
These sheets contain 3D nets for learners to construct. Each Net can be reproduced and printed on card to make a great class display while helping learners understand 2D and 3D shapes. In technology they can use it to support paper modelling for the iterative design process. Using basic shapes to construct more elaborate and complex models. In the new Welsh curriculum it achieves: Four Purposes: ambitious capable learners who are questioning and enjoy problem solving and understand how to interpret data and apply mathematical concepts. Enterprising creative contributors who connect and apply their knowledge and skills to create ideas and products. To think creatively to refrain and solve problems. SCITECH: I ca use design thinking to test and refine my design decisions without fear of failure and I can apply my knowledge and skills when making design decisions in order to produce specific outcomes. Strategies for teaching boys

Strategies for teaching boys

(0)
This is a page of various strategies that can help boys achieve more. The New Welsh Curriculum expects independent and resilient learners so this may help when planning lessons. Raising standards in boys has always been challenging but experience and research has shown me that it is all about engagement. Every learner needs to be a participant in their own learning and as teachers we need to be facilitators for this. Sitting at the front of the classroom expecting learners to engage does not work with our multi media smart phone learners. These tips will help any teacher engage with their learners.
