Includes key verbs in imperfect, conditional, perfect and pluperfect tenses, giving and justifying opinions, subjunctive phrases, infinitive expressions, connectives, positive and negative adjectives, comparatives and superlatives. Useful for independent preparation for writing and speaking. 4 differentiated grids to help students to add more detail to their own writing. They are presented individually on single slides and as core and stretch combined and challenge and super challenge combined and with all 4 levels on one slide for mixed ability use. The categories on the grids reflect the headings/boxes on my GCSE Essentials Learning Mats. Core and Stretch reflect the expectations of GCSE Foundation Level (/teaching-resource/gcse-french-essentials-learning-mat-foundation-12043959) and Challenge and Super Challenge are aimed at Higher Level candidates (/teaching-resource/gcse-french-essentials-learning-mat-higher-12043962). Pupils start with either a noun (le foot) or a noun and verb (jouer au foot) then use the grids to add to and uplevel the sentence. The slides can be used in a variety of ways: as a starter or plenary as a card game as a game of consequences as a board game
