AQA Psychology Memory workbook (A-level or AS level

Designed for teachers (specialist and non-specialists) to deliver the memory topic. The simple design of this booklet allows for students to use for remote learning or to catch up on missed content which helps to promote independence . Sections could also be used for flipped learning. The booklet includes some information that students would need with lots of parts for the students to complete. This can be done in class or as homework. There are also quick quizzes at the back of the booklet on each smaller topic within the memory topic which is designed to help both teachers and students to assess attainment, understanding and retention of knowledge. These could be used as starters, plenaries or as homework. They can be teacher assessed, peer assessed or self assessed. I have made these into a competition within one of my classes as the students are motivated by competition! Each one also has extension tasks which allows the students to earn bonus points! It also includes a key terms glossary that requires the students to compete which includes all the key terms that they need for this topic. My students have commented that they like the simple design and that there is a good balance of information and tasks throughout the booklet. 44 pages in total.

Forensic Psychology Summary Sheet- AQA

(1)
This is another A3 summsry sheet that has been designed after feedback from students. They wanted a sheet where they can have all the condensed information for a topic on one sheet. Students take time to fill these sheets in and make sure that they are neat and tidy and they make an excellent revision resource. They may not need any checking or marking from teachers! Condensing the information will help retention of information but I would always encourage some sort of active recall activity after completing the sheet.

Social Influence Key Terms Quiz 2- AQA

This is a simple key terms quiz testing 10 key terms from the social influence topic. This is designed to be used after the topic has been taught as a way of checking knowledge retention over time. There is also an option for students to earn bonus points which challenges them to recall more than simple key terms. I use this as part of a termly competition which helps to motivate the students. For weaker groups of students, I warn them that the test is coming but for more able groups, I keep it as a surprise. I provide them with small prizes at the end of each term/ half term. I keep a chart (with stickers) on a board in my classroom so students can see how they are doing and it works really well! For example: For more able groups they get a sticker if they get over 70% but for less able groups, they get a sticker for the chart if they get over 50%

This resource is designed to help students focus on the essential information that they will need to remember. It is designed to be A3 in size and has space for the students to fill in consolidated and condensed knowledge on the whole topic. I designed this in response to requests from my students and once completed allows them to have all the information they need for revision. This can be used after each topic as you teach to encourage the students to consolidate their knowledge or as part of active recall as a plenary after each lesson or as revision at the end of the topic. My students really like these resources.

Psychopathology Revision Game- AQA Alevel

This fabulous and flexible resource has many uses for both classwork as well as independent work. It covers the entire topic of psychopathology and will quickly allow students to understand which areas of the topic they need to spend more time on. It contains several command words to help students to practice exam skills. It also lends itself to peer marking which cuts down on teacher work load. Can be used as starter or plenary to psychopathology lessons or as revision.

Relationships card sort AQA Alevel Psychology

This wonderful resource has really helped my students to consolidate their knowledge on the theories of relationships included in this topic. Some students found that they got the theories muddled up so this resource helped them to understand and revise the key elements of each theory. This can be done as team work or as an individual task and is great as a lesson starter or used as revision at the end of the topic. I have also used it to help explain how students could structure their answers to exam questions. Some of the cards require the students to put definitions or add more detail so it supports different abilities or students at different stages of revision.

Attachment Workbook 2025

Attachment Workbook 2025

This workbook is designed to support students with the attachment topic including the specification changes ready for September 2025. It is a complete resource with a glossary for students to complete as well as 8 ‘quick quizzes’ that can be used as a starter, plenary or as homework to assess understanding. It is simple in design and is great for teachers to use as a baseline resource which is accessible to students of all abilities. There are many benefits to a workbook both as a hard copy or as a digital resource (I have some students who find it easier to type in lessons). It allows students to easily follow the specification and complete missed work independently. This is tried and tested and the feedback from students has been really positive. They like having the workbook and describe it as a self made revision guide, There is some information in the workbook but most of it is made for the students to complete during lessons or as independent study.

Ten quizzes, one for each topic within attachment. Each one is marked out of ten. Great for revision within a lesson or for independent revision. Eight of these can be used after the changes to the specification come into effect (sept 25). I have used them as starters, plenaries and homework tasks. They are designed to quickly give the teacher a really clear idea about understanding. They do not take long to mark.

This is a blank workbook for students to complete. It could be used as a workbook as the topic is taught but also as a revision aid. It covers all topics in the unit of work and includes exam style questions throughout as well as activities and a fun word search activity at the end which helps students revise key terms from the unit of work.

Eyewitness testimony and cognitive interview revision

This bundle includes a power point and three work sheets that are designed to work together covering the effect of misleading information and anxiety on the accuracy of eyewitness testimony and the cognitive interview. This easily adaptable resource can be used with students in a classroom environment but also works well as part of students own independent revision. It takes students through the basics of the above topics. Each sheet has been designed so that students can have all the information for each topic on an A4 sheet of paper. Feedback from my students who have used this resource was really positive and they liked that the resources enabled them to condense the information. The power point also includes possible questions to plan for or write out as a practice. There is an optional task within the power point that enables a teacher to quickly assess the understanding before the lesson and assess the progress made throughout the lesson. This is a tried and tested resource that my students enjoyed.

Students often struggle to understand when to use statistical tests but with feedback from students, I created the perfect flow chart for them to learn from. This bundle includes the completed version as well as a blank version for students to practice with. This can be used for revision as well as a starter/ plenary or for completing as they learn about when each statistical test should be used.
