Third lesson in the Changing Spaces; Making Places topic for OCR Geography A Level. Students construct a place profile on Toxteth in Liverpool, using information provided and the A Level textbook. Completed place profile given to check detail of work.

Second lesson in the Changing Spaces; Making Places topic for OCR Geography A Level. Students examine what the component parts of a place are. Unfortunately I have been unable to include some resources needed for the lesson due to copyright issues, however the Hackney place profile was found online (on Council website) and the textbook needed to complete the worksheet is stated at the top of the sheet.

Lesson includes and examination of UK migration trends and patterns (data up to date as of June 2020) and the Jelly Baby Game which has been adapted slightly (resources can be freely found Geography All The Way)

Created for the brand new (9-1) OCR Geography B specification. Fourth in the SOW, this lesson aims to explore factors that have made it harder for countries to break out of poverty. One resource (Development Ups and Downs - Snakes and Ladders type game) not included due to copyright issues, however it can be freely downloaded from the Canadian Red Cross’ website, please just look online for it.
