This is a set of five sentence builders for the ‘mis vacaciones’ (my holidays) Spanish unit. Sentence builders are: Where you normally go vs where you went (¿adónde fuiste?) What you did (¿qué hiciste?) How it was (¿cómo fue?) Where you are going to go (¿qué vas a hacer?) Where you stayed (¿dónde te alojaste?) This resource is aimed at Y8, however could easily be used with other year groups, particularly at GCSE. Sheets can easily be differentiated and they feature a broad range of vocabulary and structures to enable students to stretch themselves. There are many opportunities for students to extend their work by using the extension language in gold. Images have been removed for copyright purposes however there is space to add your own.

Sentence builders are: How you use technology (use of time phrases and negatives) Music (use of three tenses) TV (use of comparative with masc/fem separation) Cinema (use of Spanish film titles and qué phrases) These are great to use per lesson or as a pitstop writing frame to support an extended piece of writing. This is worksheet for use in class or at home to practice the immediate future tense in Spanish. It is used for the Viva GCSE Destino Zaragoza module of Mi Vida en el Insti (Y10) but can be used at any point during Spanish studies. The sheet increases in complexity, going from Spanish to English translations, then English to Spanish and then finally a larger paragraph into Spanish. There is an extension task and an unstuck strategy.
