Cloning Animals and Plants - for Section 5C Edexcel IGCSE Biology (Use of Biological Resources)

This is a complete set of lesson resources for the section of the specification about cloning. If you have any questions at all about the resources - how to use a particular component, then please do email me at roberti_85@yahoo.co.uk. (the videos included are from the BBC Horizon series, available online - have just included them in this package to save having to source them yourself - I usually just show this at the end of the whole lesson as a way to give the content some real context)

A full presentation and associated worksheet that teaches students how to produce and utilise a calibration curve. Ideal preparation for the required practicals! The PPT includes a link to a Kahoot that I have made - this makes for an excellent starter. The link to this game is: https://create.kahoot.it/share/the-big-carbohydrates-kahoot/953284bd-d3d9-47ff-8606-0749d16f8121

Powerpoints and all associated worksheets are provided for this lesson, covering all aspects of the specification. The notes are written to match the exact details required to score full marks in the AQA past papers. *The 1st slide refers to marking of the ‘exchange surfaces tasksheet’ - this worksheet (included) can be given out in the lesson prior and completed for homework, so that the first 10 minutes of this lesson can be used for peer marking. The introductory lesson on exchnage surfaces is usually taught before this one. If you would prefer not to sue this task, simply delete the words on the 1st slide! :)
