AQA GCSE (9-1) Britain: Health and People –Topic 3 ‘A revolution in medicine;’ Revision Placemats (x6) This resource consists of six revision placemats for the third topic of Britain: Health and People which focuses on the topic ‘A revolution in medicine’’. Homer’s Odyssey Key Events Revision Placemats (x18) This resource contains 18 revision placemats covering Books I, V-XIV, XVI-XIX and XXI-XXII (all the books required for the OCR Classical Civilisations New A-Level exam and will also work for GCSE students) Each placemat contains the following: Summary of the key events of the Book The key characters in each Book How key themes are developed in each Book These are excellent revision tools and can be used to support the learning of students both within and outside of the classroom. I have printed them off for all my students on card and they often comment on how useful they are.

This consists of 9 lessons covering Russian History from the Provisional Government to Lenin's death. These were created for the new GCSE course following the AQA syllabus. I have used the Walsh Textbook for certain parts if it use the textbook. This consists of PowerPoints and some worksheets. A good textbook is essential for these lessons.

These have been created for the new AQA History GCSE and will require a textbook to provide some information (I have used the prescribed Walsh textbook). However, these can be easily edited with different page numbers for the tasks. All of the lessons have clear differentiated outcomes and expectations and the lessons are as follows: 1) How did Communism Spread throughout the world in 1949? 2) NATO and the Warsaw Pact 3) What was the significance of the arms-race? 4) The Space Race 5) Why did the Cold War escalate?

Lessons are easily differentiated and most tasks are designed to get pupils speaking about the events/topics.
