This is a worksheet to go with the film Vivo (2021). A great end-of term resource.
Students can go through the worksheet whilst watching the film which is currently on Netflix.
I put the film on for students in Spanish language with English subtitles.
Task 1- is to name some characters from the film by writing the name under their picture. The names are in a box below the images.
Task 2 - Is a wordsearch. They need to find several words in Spanish and some of the characters from the film too.
Task 3 - They need to highlight the cognates in the Spanish text. Then finish off the translation of the text into English in a gap-fill task. The words are written at the bottom of the page.
Task 4 - They need to answer several questions about the film in English
Task 5 - They need to decode the Spanish song lyrics from Andrés’ lost song. They use the images to decipher the text.
Task 6 - they try and translate the deciphered text into English.
Task 7 - is just the song lyrics for ‘Dentro de tu corazón’ in Spanish and English. This is the penultimate song in the film so it’s just for studens to follow the lyrics
I also inlcude an answer sheet
