Unit 1 lesson for WJEC Medical Science AAQ (2025). Designed for 2-hour sessions. Free worksheets available + Kahoot links included. This is a ready-to-go but fully editable presentation designed for the delivery of the new WJEC Level 3 AAQ in Medical Science (AAQ) Unit 1 Human Health & Disease specification – first teaching from September 2025. This presentation covers the topic of active transport and bulk transport in line with the new specification. Designed for a 2-hour teaching session, the lesson includes structured explanations, diagrams, some discussion prompts, activities, and embedded links to Kahoot quizzes (in the notes section of relevant slides). A booklet of accompanying worksheets is available for free in my TES shop here, ideal for in-class activities or homework. The worksheets for all lessons in this series can easily be divided up into separate sheets if needed, ideal for whole-class delivery, revision, or independent study. At the end of this booklet is a Lecturer Notes section containing marking schemes for exam questions and lists of the Seneca Learning activities to assign to learners for relevant lessons.
