10 SENCo SENDCo Interview Questions and Answers - Set 2 - Interview Support - Interview Preparation
In this Set 2 resource, we explore another 10 questions you might be asked on a SENCo interview and another 10 detailed possible answers.
We answer questions including:
How do you identify students with additional needs who have not yet been formally assessed?
Describe your approach to creating and implementing an effective SEND provision map.
How do you ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and other statutory requirements?
How do you support teachers to differentiate their teaching for students with SEND?
What role do you play in staff training and professional development related to SEND?
Please note: whilst the questions are detailed and thorough, they are NOT a definitive list, and the answers are not exhaustive. You may want to select parts of the answers which apply best to your knowledge. You should also add to your answers using experiences of your own and include your learning from these experiences that you would take into the new role. You should never use generic answers in an interview setting. Always link your answers with what you know about the school and their priorities.
These answers are spaced at 1.15 to help with ease of reading and coloured to make the large volume of text and each different question easier to digest.
Thi is a complimentary resource to my set 1 10 SENCo interview and questions answers (/teaching-resource/resource-12994499) and my set 1 (/teaching-resource/resource-12348689) and set 2 SENCo questions – these have no answers (/teaching-resource/resource-12348691).
