There are 12 separate work sheets, including sorting activities, flash cards for drama, using the example of how chocolate is made.
All learning objectives and success criteria are outlined for each individual lesson, and all links for extra resources to be found are on the series plan.
Honestly, this has the potential to save you a LOT of work!
It can be used for any year in primary, as there are alternative difficulty options, and vocabulary choices that can be altered to make it harder/easier.

This is a comprehension task regarding the Vikings.
For each question they complete accurately, they get to save 1 of the Viking horde from the group at the bottom of the page.
Dear All,
Here’s a small resource that involves sorting angles between acute, right and obtuse.
I set it as a homework, but it’s editable for use in lessons too.
This is a set of resources that I use for my year 3 and 4 group.
They are Egyptian themed so that they can link in with humanities topic.
Shape poems are a great introduction to writing in a poetic structure for children, and the shapes offered in this pack are: canopic jars, a sarcophagus and a pyramid.
I modelled the pyramid shape to the class so that my lower ability group had more input tailored to them.
LO: To write a topical shape poem

Writing prompt/stimulus based on retelling the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Teaching PowerPoint and 4-way differentiated planning sheets included in this 29-Page pack.
This can be delivered to a single class, year group or whole-school cohort, or even as an extra-curricular Creative Writing club task!
Assessing writing is a subjective nightmare! With this independent writing assessment stimulus, children can engage in an exciting writing task centred around retelling the story of Red Riding Hood, with older year groups synthesizing the story by adding their own endings. As teachers, we can decide which planning sheet most accurately matches the children’s abilities or targets, and the writing they produce can be assessed against national or state standards.
With Talk for Writing opportunities throughout the PowerPoint, children can discuss their use of vocabulary, ideas for plot and explore their characters’ emotions in peer work or small groups.

25-page teaching PowerPoint
4 different planning sheet options in PDF format

Editable versions of PPT and worksheets to suit your classes’ needs!

Week 3 of 6- A no-prep lesson that explores sketching and shading techniques whilst drawing natural objects from observation. Children in grades 1-3 will learn to critique peer’s artwork kindly and use high-level artistic vocabulary to describe their own work. A perfect art unit for Autumn, Spring or Summer!
This product contains a 16-slide Teaching PowerPoint that guides students through developing a sketching technique whilst looking at the definitions of topical vocabulary such as line, shape, texture, pattern, tone and sketch. Using the worksheet provided, children are encouraged to draw natural objects such as leaves or flowers with sketching pencils, using the ‘tickle the spider’ technique explained on the slides. Examples of what work may look like are included.
This activity can be conducted as a class, or in smaller wellbeing groups to work on mindfulness or calming SEN children during the chaos of the school day. The focus is on gaining digital literacy skills, such as photo editing, uploading and downloading images from Google, cutting out images from their backgrounds and arranging them aesthetically.
This lesson is likely to take 1.5-2 hours, and requires the use of natural objects obtained on a nature walk (either in a previous lesson in this unit or at the start of this one!) If you don’t have access to outdoor space for your students, images from online search engines can be used!
This product contains 5 activities, including:
‘What do we remember from last week?’ questioning activity
