International Response to the Genocide - In this station, students will learn about the international response to the genocide, including the failure of the UN and the role of the international community, including USA.
A Survivor’s Story - In this station, students will read a powerful story of survival and resilience from Immaculee Nyirampore, a survivor of the genocide.
I’ve included political cartoons and photos in each station of the activity. These visuals will help students to engage with the material and gain a better understanding of the historical context and events.
