Primary PSHE - Year 4 - Digital Boundaries Lesson Bundle

This 5-week scheme of work is taken from the EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme.

Our curriculum builds progressively, leading to this Year 4 unit on Digital Boundaries. This unit builds on prior learning, helping students understand how to stay safe online. In Year 1, we explored screen time and safety through stories like Chicken Clicking and Once Upon a Time Online. In Year 2, we learned about SafeSearch, secrets, and protecting personal information. In Year 3, we focused on age-appropriate content and online privacy. In Year 4, we will examine limiting screen time, explore age restrictions, improve online communication skills, and recognize harmful content. Finally, we will revisit harmful secrets and happy surprises to make safer online choices.

You can find the bundle here: Year 4 - Digital Boundaries SOW

The unit includes the following lessons:
1. Limiting screen time
2. Age restrictions
3. Communicating online
4. Harmful content and contact
5. Secrets
