You could use these at the start of your course, before teaching the set film texts, or for taster lessons promoting the subject. Included within this are lessons on: cinematography lighting sound mise en scene how to create a character (based on screenplay conventions) I have also included my film form knowledge organiser which provides an overview of all film technical codes (both Word and PDF versions)

A booklet analysing the key shots from the opening sequence and Silva’s lair sequence in Skyfall. For each shot, there are bullet points analysing the key methods Mendes uses within the shot. These are stepped for ability so should be accessible for all abilities. There is also then a grade 9 model paragraph for each shot. This would be useful both for revision and for planning your unit of work / scheme of work. Both PDF and Word documents are available. This is for the GCSE Film Studies for the Eduqas / WJEC exam board and specification.
