This lesson looks at how the plants and animals have adapted to the climatic conditions found in the rainforest. It relies heavily on short video links to illustrate the key points, so David Attenborough does most of the teaching. Links are also included to the new Oxford Book but access to this is not vital. An introductory lesson to the topic of glaciation. It investigates the extent of ice coverage during the last ice age and the evidence in the landscape of glaciation. An enquiry approach is taken but the main activity is a more practical map based task which asks students to locate key evidence for past glaciation on an outline map of the British Isles. The Oxford and Hodder books are referenced but an atlas would work just as well.

A complete lesson on the issues surrounding Polish migration to the UK. Makes reference to the Oxford Textbook and/or the CGP Revision Guide. However worksheets are generic enough to be used with any source.
