I have been teaching ICT for over ten years and enjoy producing resources. I am continuing to develop lessons for KS3-KS5 and in line with new course requirements. I now deliver to KS2 students and have added some ICT resources that I use to deliver to them.

Students will understand the term ‘programming’ whilst using Kodu. Students will use Kodu to create a world and program Kodu to move. Students will then design and create their own game whilst providing evidence. Lesson One-Six Kodu Lesson Seven Revision Lesson Eight Assessment Lesson Nine Feedback and Improvements This unit has a lesson presentation for every lesson that includes a starter activity, main activity and plenary. Resources also include homework, worksheets, helpsheets and an overall assessment sheet that can be used for self, peer and teacher assessment. A full Scheme of Work is also provided. This unit of work is suitable from Years 6-8 depending on ability.

**Contains: **8 lessons, overall assessment for learning sheet, Scheme of Work, homework booklet, test and answers etc THIS UNIT CAN BE USED FOR KS3 OR AS AN INTRODUCTION FOR KS4. The aim of this unit is for learners to understand the basics of programming and be able to code using Python. Learners will be taken through a series of 8 lessons that will enhance their knowledge of programming. This will give them a feel for programming and allow them to possibly choose this as an option for their GCSEs. Learners will use Turtle commands to draw basic shapes, use IF statements and loops to create a simple program. Create a computer program which will include an IF and ELSE statement as well as loops. Create a simple test table which carries out three tests and explain and justify good and bad features of my solution.

This unit will enable learners to understand pre-production skills used in the creative and digital media sector. It will develop their understanding of the client brief, time frames, deadlines and preparation techniques that form part of the planning and creation process. Planning is an essential part of working in the creative and digital media sector. This unit will enable learners to acquire the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to create digital media products and gain an understanding of their application. On completion of this unit, learners will understand the purpose and uses of a range of pre-production techniques. They will be able to plan pre-production of a creative digital media product to a client brief, and will understand how to review preproduction documents. Learners studying the optional units will be able to apply knowledge and understanding gained in this unit to help develop their skills further during the completion of those units.
