Lighthouse tower maths number challenge sheets. Each sheet contains 6 rocks that have an addition number sentence for children to work out. Children can count out the colours for the parts and then add them together to make the whole (make a lighthouse tower to stand on the rock!). For an extra challenge, ask the children to see if they can make the lighthouse towers a repeating pattern to make the stripes. Contains 6 sheets each with 6 addition number sentences. Number sentences up to 10.

Powerpoint presentation is a guide and can be edited to suit the needs of your school. This is a great way to communicate to parents about how the children have settled into school life so far, thank them for their support, and to discuss what the Reception year is all about. It will also cover expectations such as homework, what to bring and positive communication. This can then be shared and forwarded on to parents after.
