20 playing cards, each with a different French film poster on the front.
Instructions:
Print and cut out the cards.
Write bullet points on the back such as genre of film, a positive and a negative opinion.
Laminate the cards.
Pupils then take it in turns to pull a card from the pack. They must read the bullet points and say the relevant information in French. Full example in WORD DOC.
Differentiation opportunity:
- To differentiate down, fill in the bullet points in French with only a few key words missing.
- To differentiate up, fill in the bullet points entirely in English.

They absolutely loved the song and video and found all the vocab and phrases in the lyrics very useful.
An A3 town map with key places listed as well as all the French words and phrases for how to get there.
Pupils take it in turns to ask to get to a place on the map and their partner directs them there.
Pupils could use a small rubber to mark their place on the map.
