20 playing cards, each with a different French film poster on the front. Instructions: Print and cut out the cards. Write bullet points on the back such as genre of film, a positive and a negative opinion. Laminate the cards. Pupils then take it in turns to pull a card from the pack. They must read the bullet points and say the relevant information in French. Full example in WORD DOC. Differentiation opportunity: - To differentiate down, fill in the bullet points in French with only a few key words missing. - To differentiate up, fill in the bullet points entirely in English. An A3 colour snakes and ladders board game for pairs or small groups. Players work their way around the board and must say a sentence in either the present, past or future tense depending on what colour square they land on.
