This is the PowerPoint version of my popular poem written in 2012 and based on a true event. It is also available to buy on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. Please use with caution. Sense of humour needed. This is actually also the topic of a forum discussion here on TES. It is intended for children aged 5+ and can be used as a stimulus for a literacy poetry lesson or simply as entertainment. This poem has gone global and has been enjoyed by different people across the world. Enjoy

I can tell you this exact scenario happened to me. However, the fart did not last for a long time. It was clearly audible and I became a laughing stock for the rest of the year.

This poem is great!!! Iām going to show this to my son whoās in 3rd grade and having some issues with liking his teacher. Iām hoping this might warm him up and open his eyes to the fact that, as you said, teachers are human!! Thanks!!
