This coordinate activity pack contains two different sets of activities and is designed to help children master coordinates in a fun and engaging way. This maths pack has 20 differentiated task cards each with a problem involving estimation in outdoors. It will get your class outside applying and improving their estimation and problem solving skills. Along with each card there is a clue card in order to support those children that need a helping hand. How I used them: After having an initial lesson on what estimation is and going through a few basic problems I stuck the cards up in appropriate places outside. In the pairs the children went around the school grounds finding the cards and solving the problems. My class got through about 4 problems each per lesson.
