Use these math puzzles for your students to practice multiplying and dividing by 10, 100, and 1,000. The large puzzle pieces are great to be used as a fun outdoor extension or recap activity however the small puzzles can easily be used as a full lesson activity. I have used these to great success over the last few weeks. My children have loved them and are know pros at multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000! This maths pack has 20 differentiated task cards each with a problem involving estimation in outdoors. It will get your class outside applying and improving their estimation and problem solving skills. Along with each card there is a clue card in order to support those children that need a helping hand. How I used them: After having an initial lesson on what estimation is and going through a few basic problems I stuck the cards up in appropriate places outside. In the pairs the children went around the school grounds finding the cards and solving the problems. My class got through about 4 problems each per lesson.
