Contains:
1) A general class tracker proforma
2) A year cohort disadvantaged groups tracker
3) A Year cohort intervention tracker
4) A KS3 science mastery tracker
Contains trilogy PLC performance trackers for all three of the sciences. The outcomes are based on the combined trilogy course.
(See other resources for the separate sciences)
All trackers are formatted and ready to go. Content is broken down into 'can do' statements. Teachers can RAG rate student progress to highlight strengths and weaknesses on this already formatted spreadsheet. All you have to do is put a number in and it will change colour automatically, saving you time and effort.
The trackers will support written reports, inform students of the next steps and could even be used at parents evenings to inform parents of progress.
AQA GCSE Biology Content,(8464) required practical and skills PLC:
The Biology content broken down into 'can do' statements. Teachers can RAG rate student progress to highlight strengths and weaknesses on this already formatted spreadsheet. All you have to do is put a number in and it will change colour automatically, saving you time and effort.
Also include is a required practical tracker, a trilogy biology required practical assessment booklet and a general scientific skills PLC tracker.
PLC trackers are included for the chemistry trilogy required practicals, cell biology, organisation, infection and response, bioenergetics, homeostasis, inheritance, variation and evolution, ecology and key skill areas, This PLC contains extra outcomes added from the trilogy version.
This resource should help you track student progress until they master each element of the Biology trilogy specification. The tracker will support written reports, inform students of the next steps and could even be used at parents evenings to inform parents of progress.
Engage your students as they learn all about the eye as they make an interactive foldable eye that can be stuck in their books. This is an ideal activity if you do not have access to eyes or if students are to squeamish to complete it themselves.
This resource pack comes with:
1) the foldable template
2) a (F) differentiated sheet with pins and a table already completed
3) a (H) differentiated sheet with pins and a table that needs to be completed by students
4) A worksheet that asks students to research the functions of the main parts of the eye
5) photos of the finished of the finished design to model to students
6) A brief description of a method of how to carry out an eye dissection
The year disadvantaged list can be used to track the disadvantaged/ vulnerable students within the whole year group and monitor any interventions.
Use SIMS to gather student information add in how your students are disadvantaged and add the number of groups up.
Add the barriers to learning the student may have
Add in details from any IEP and who is responsible for it
What strategies are used to overcome difficulties
Then add report data - is the student on track? how subjects are they off track in? are they making expected progress in Eng/Maths
Also included is the "disadvantaged profile" that individual teachers can use to track disadvantaged students in their own classes
Engage your students as they learn all about to wire a 3 pin plug as they create a foldable plug . This can be used to explain electrical safety. The resource is idea and means every student can have a fully wired plug in their books.
A student worksheet with extended answer questions is also included along with a teacher answer sheet.
A two page sheet containing calculations for charge, current, voltage is added to support mains electricity topics along with a answer powerpoint that goes through each question and explains how they should be completed. This contains foundation and A* style calculations.
The resource could be used over 3 lessons for it to be fully completed.

A resource that should be printed back to back (on long edge) and cut out and folded.
The circuit names are already printed on the resource and it allows students to research either in a lesson for a homework the symbols. The tabs all neatly fold over in the book, making the key terms stand out.
There is also space for teachers/students to add an extra one when and if required.
A selection of resources including a christmas quiz, science practical lessons and some gas pressure demonstrations you can can do in the classroom!!
All these resources will save you a massive 58%!
The total chemistry tracker and PLC for trilogy chemistry 8462 and the separate science chemistry 8464. Also included is a required practical record document for the 3 GCSE sciences and 2 lessons for reactivity of metals and chemical reactions. All together they are worth £9 - yours for £4. Saving 50%

3 of my latest foldables creating engaging learning for heat transfer in a home and thermal energy transfer in a vacuum flask and the fractional distillation column. Get this MASSIVE bargain today.
Engage your students as they learn all about the process of electrolysis and the purification of copper in a series of diagrams that can be stuck in their exercise books. Each diagram can be coloured, labelled with space to explain in detail what is happening to the electrodes and ions.
Thanks for looking

A brief powerpoint with the 4 electric charge calculations. The ppt asks to rearrange them and contains the answers to the worksheet.
A brief look at the calculations for higher tier students that could be used for revision
Create a fractional distillation column which folds open to show the fractions inside. There is plenty of space to colour and for teacher autonomy. Fractions are folded inwards so can not be seen until the cover is taken off. Fractions then fold out.
There is also an extended question sheet that is the correct to stick over the inside cover to stretch learners to explain what is happening inside the column.
Included is a mark scheme (what points exam boards look for) and a differentiated key points sheet that could be given out or used instead of the extended answers.
See photos included for how foldable is fitted together. Foldable pictures are B+W however could quite easily be printed in colour.
Match sure your KS3 Science students 'master' all the key ideas they need before they start on their GCSE journey. It will support conversations with students to what they have to do to improve/next steps as well as your report writing and parents evenings.
This PLC is already formatted with the statements/Can do/key idea statements all you have to do is add numbers:
1) can not do yet (red)
2) nearly there (orange)
3) mastered (green)
4) Away/absent for the lessons covering the key idea so need to catch up (grey)
This resources covers all Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics, as well as working scientifically and other key skills (EG: graph drawing, calculations and maths skills, homework quality).
You can also edit/add sections to suit your own teaching needs.
This is your chance to allow your students to create an interactive foldable Motte and Bailey Castle that can be put in exercise books. Much better than little sketch and more accessible than creating a large scale model - overall great for engaging your learners whether they are primary or secondary.
The resource comes with the template (that can be coloured and cut out)
Instructions
Photos of a model design so your students can see what it should look like.
A student worksheet with various questions on it designed to test knowledge of the Motte and Bailey castle and even space for teacher feedback. (the sheet is of course totally optional)
