A four-page standalone resource on the different types of family models in Spain: familias numerosas, familias monoparentales, familias reconstruidas, parejas homosexuales, padres divorciados… There are three texts with up-to-date cultural references about family models in Spain with accompanying reading comprehension and vocabulary activities. Pupils work in pairs and they have copy of the attached resource and then use dice, or digital dice, to generate two numbers. The first number gives them the topic and the second number the type of structure. They then have to translate the given sentence into Spanish and their partner ‘marks’ their answer using the grid on the back of the resource. Pupils can also use this independently for revision and self-testing.
