Two resources to teach/revise the imperfect tense and for pupils to begin using it in the context of hobbies when they were little. The first resource introduces key imperfect temporal indicators and the rules of formation with some practice questions. The second resource links to hobbies when they are little and there is also a reading comprehension with questions. These resources with scaffold pupils answering the question: "que te gustaba hacer cuando eras joven"

A Level translation practice on the topic of ‘el impacto turístico en España’. There are two sections: one paragraph about el turismo sostenible to translate into English and then sentences to translate into Spanish that target specific aspects of grammar: tenses, time frames, thematic vocabulary and structures. Answers included.

A worksheet to support pupils with expressing opinions on TV in Spanish accurately and with a range of higher structures. It includes a vocabulary match up, sorting adjectives into positive & negative, a sentence builder using ‘back to front’ gustar verbs, translation practice and some scaffolds/ suggested structures for questions on this topic. A standalone resource to allow pupils to discuss and write about the advantages and disadvantages of the Internet. There are three activities: classifying statements as advantages/ disadvantages, a vocabulary hunt and plenary translation. A writing mat and translation activities to introduce the subjunctive to GCSE pupils. There are key triggers divided by meaning, key verbs, useful vocabulary, formation rules and translation both ways.

A comprehensive four page resource to help pupils to explain why they use their Internet and to give an positive and negative opinions about its usage. Suggested answers are included. The 7 tasks scaffold the pupil’s learning and get progressively harder. There is key vocabulary, translation in English, the uses of Internet, key adjectives, translation of justified opinions into Spanish, a reading task to decide if statements are advantages or disadvantages and finally an extension writing task. These resources will also allow pupils to talk about Internet using higher structures and sophisticated vocabulary.

A reading comprehension and powerpoint of activities to use to when planning a lesson on Pocket Money for KS3 or the beginning of GCSE. The PowerPoint contains a “unjumble” these sentences activity, a speaking overview on pocket money and some translation practice. A standalone worksheet for KS3 / beginners on the topic of ‘donde vivo yo’. The activities are scaffolded and introduce types of house, common adjectives, the verb ‘vivir’ and also ‘está’, compass directions and more. A writing mat to revise opinions, types of TV programme and films and some interesting adjectives to justify these opinions. Useful for teaching TV/ media/ free time or for revising these topics. The writing mat will help pupils scaffold their oral and written answers. There is also a slide of sentences to translate, using the writing mat to help.
