Spanish GCSE pocket money: dinero de bolsillo & ayudar en casa (reading comprehension & vocabulary)
An extended reading task on ‘pocket money’ for GCSE level.
There are four texts with model answers that pupils can recycle and adapt to produce their own answers. There is a ‘vocabulary hunt’ activity and a comprehension question in Spanish. This is a good starting point for them then to consider their own answers.

Qu’est-ce qu’on peut faire pour protéger l’environnement ?
Resources to use in any lesson on the environment for GCSE. There is a range of activities including key vocabulary match up, translation both ways, reading comprehension and a ‘vocabulary hunt’.
Pupils can use these resources to model their own answers on ‘qu’est-ce que tu fais pour protéger l’environnement’ and the resources include lots of higher vocabulary and complex structures for them to recycle in their own work.

An A4 worksheet and accompanying PowerPoint to introduce key vocabulary for the topic of les problèmes écologiques/ l'environnement.
The vocabulary and activities can be built into any lesson on this topic: vocabulary recognition & match-up, slides for pupils to practise recognising these words. Translation into French on this topic, introducing the grammar points 'Etre en train de...' & 'c'est à nous de...". There is also a reading activity and gap-fill.

A worksheet and a Quiz Quiz Trade activity I have used with pupils when teaching "lenguas y nacionalidades". The worksheet is standalone and will allow pupils to focus on countries, nationalities, languages and agreement. There is also a Quiz Quiz Trade activity which I cut up and pupils enjoyed using. KS3 Spanish lenguas y nacionalidades ¿de dónde eres?, introducing yourself, reading
A comprehensive stand-alone worksheet to build into any lesson on languages, nationalities & introducing oneself. Based around the vocabulary and content of Zoom, there is an extended reading task with a narrow reading comprehension exercise and also 'vocabulary hunt' activity targeting some higher phrases. These phrases are then recycled in a translation activity into Spanish.

A comprehensive resource to introduce key holiday vocabulary, key opinion constructions which require an infinitive and lots of translation both ways. These resources will are stand-alone and can be used in any lesson introducing this topic.

Spanish GCSE Describe where you live: dónde vives reading, vocabulary & grammar
A whole lesson resource to introduce vocabulary and structures for describing where you live for GCSE.
It includes a reading activity, key vocabulary, exercises on using ‘desde hace’ and some extension phrases. There are also translation activities both ways. There is a PPT for class and answers.

A resources to use at KS4 to talk about family and to try to introduce some higher phrases that go beyond KS3. I have used this text as a model for pupils producing something similar about their own family.
Spanish conditional "would you rather..." scenarios reading _ KS4 extension / KS5
A reading activity to introduce the conditional tense, with "would you rather" type questions in Spanish to lead to discussion in groups.
The challenging vocabulary is in a match-up activity first.

Spanish GCSE Writing School & Future Plans - Grade 9 Structures list & Model Answer
A longer GCSE writing question about school and future plans. There is a clear rubric and also a list of key complex structures to try to include, which are differentiated by level (bronze, silver, gold). Pupils can be given this question and encouraged to include as many as possible in their work to enhance quality of language.
There is also a model answer using some of the structures (150 words) with a ‘structures search’ which pupils could look at before writing their own response.
