The lesson is for PSHE rather than science and so although still includes detail on how the menstrual cycle works, it also focuses on the different feminine hygiene products and emotions/feelings surrounding first periods.

Calming Down EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will recap the previous lesson’s learning on feelings and the faces that people often make when they are feeling happy, sad, angry, scared, or calm. We will then discuss how different emotions make us feel, paying particular attention to feelings that don’t feel nice like sadness, anger, and fear. We we discuss self-help techniques, with a particular focus on mindful breathing.
The lesson includes a sing-along starter (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, independent activities to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.

The lesson focuses on WhatsApp and the problems caused by teens using the service before the legal joining age of sixteen. Many issues are explored in detail, such as mob mentality leading to cyber-bullying in large group chats, the T+Cs of messaging services (especially how they own any content you post and the possible repercussions of this) as well as practical advice on how to distance yourself from online trouble and legal issues.

**Fairtrade Fortnight 2024 **
A 1-hour, all new global Citizenship lesson suitable for KS2. In this lesson, the students will learn how the Fairtrade Foundation helps to prevent the exploitation and unfair treatment of farmworkers in developing countries.
We will discuss the role of the Fairtrade price guarantee in helping farmworkers to avoid poverty, and we will discuss the positive impact of the Fairtrade Premium on communities in developing countries.
The students will investigate the meaning of a ‘fair price’ when we look at the income distribution of a bar of chocolate sold in a developed country, such as the UK.
The lesson includes an information sheet, a video clip with questions, a Fairtrade problem solving task, and a plenary.

2026 DfE RSHE GUIDELINES COMPLIANT (see lesson plan included for details) - A brand new lesson which details what we mean by sexual harassment, what constitutes as sexual harassment in the eyes of the law (UK), the different forms this can take and how this can be reported correctly. The lesson emphasises that this can happen to men too. Students will investigate case-studies, which aren’t all clear cut, to see if sexual harassment took place (all answers given in detail) as their main task. Best suited to upper KS3 or KS4.

All About Manners EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. Created by our early years specialist, this lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about good and bad manners, and what it means if someone is rude.
The lesson includes a sing-along starter activity (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, an independent activity to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.
