I Design Bilingual Resources Focused on Reflective and Critical Thinking to Foster Growth. The resources are all set to connect knowledge to students' real lives.
The Muffin Challenge resource focuses on developing kindness. It invites students to understand, through practice, what being kind truly means. As part of the challenge, students will perform acts of kindness for themselves and others while completing a mini-book. Encourage them to view this as an exciting opportunity to test themselves and set goals. Set a timeframe, such as a weekend, week, or month, for students to complete the book and share their experiences in class or with their families.
This resource teaches and practices kindness, and it has numerous positive outcomes for children academically, mentally, and socially. It helps boost self-esteem, enhances motivation to learn, and reduces instances of bullying and violence.
Parents will greatly appreciate participating in this engaging book with their children, understanding that kindness is priceless and holds immense value.

Help your students explore the significance of Pearl Harbor Day. This resource assists children in understanding the key aspects of this event, including the attack itself, its context, timing, reasons, and execution.
Students gain an understanding of the major events of Pearl Harbor by engaging in reading and drawing a comic. They then create a simple mind map to organize the main facts they have learned.
Children pay tribute to the Pearl Harbor Memorial by drawing themselves and describing their emotions if they were present. They write congratulatory letters to Pearl Harbor survivors, expressing admiration for their bravery and resilience.
Lastly, children receive a medal as a symbol, which they can decorate and use to highlight the most important fact they have learned. They can then explain this fact to their friends or family.

Help your kids become more responsible and act responsibly with this valuable resource. This strategy offers an easy way to help your students examine the concept of responsibility and understand the positive or negative consequences associated with their actions.
Guide your kids in identifying their responsibilities and becoming aware of the outcomes, whether positive or negative, that arise from being responsible or irresponsible.
Ask your kids to complete the “I am Responsible†sheet, considering their responsibilities and the corresponding positive and negative consequences of their actions. Afterward, they can cut out the items and paste them into their jars. The size of the cutouts is designed to fit perfectly with three items, but if desired, they can glue more by folding them and placing them inside their jar.
This activity serves as a perfect opportunity to involve families as well. It can be sent home for the kids to work on it together with their family members. Encouraging collaboration between school and home helps reinforce the concept of responsibility and its importance in daily life.
