This was designed to show students starting year 8 what we would hope they would be confident in to make the transition smoother. Topics include angles in parallel lines, averages, directed numbers, HCF/LCM, probability, ratio, sequences, algebra (substitution, simplifying expressions, solving equations). Each topic has two activities and a QR code that links to a tutorial video on my YouTube channel if the student is unsure. Answers are on the reverse of each sheet.
