This Leaver’s Assembly script celebrates your Year 6’s time at Primary School in the form of:

Acrostic poetry,
Three mini-playlets about concerns leaving for secondary and leaving friends,
Picture PowerPoints templates,
‘I remember when…’ memories about their time at school and,
A ‘Thank you’ section to all the staff that have made their Primary journey a pleasant one.

All the above is tied together by a script that has parts for 32 children but can be easily adapted and modified to suit the numbers of your class.

**You will need an assembly hall projector and screen. **

There will be some preparation involved in writing poems and memories, learning the songs, practising the mini-playlets and updating the Picture PowerPoint template slides for your school.

However, there are very detailed Teacher Notes for both the script and Suggested Amendments for all the PowerPoints.
