Road Safety and Car Free Bundle

Here are some interesting presentations you can discuss with your class about how to be safe on the road and also how they can use their cars less. These presentations are designed to be used as displays or a visual prompts to get the class talking about the importance of road safety and the impact cars have on the environment. How many different ways can your class think of travelling without needing to use a car?

Transport Bundle

This is a set of presentations about different forms of transport. The presentations would be a great way of getting a class to use a wider range of descriptive terms, especially when it comes to describing colours, the locations and the number of wheels they can count. This a good way to introduce the topic of cars and transport. I have also included two 'Talk a lot' teaching units about transport and cars. Finally, I also included the car free day presentation, to see how many different forms of transport the children can identify. Ask your students to describe what are the pros and cons of using each type of transport.

I used a voucher code to purchase this resource as a stimulus for World Car Free Day. This powerpoint is just pictures of people travelling in other ways instead of cars and would have taken about 5 minutes to put together using Google images. Very disappointed.
