This unit of work uses sources and evidence to answer the question ‘What Can we learn about the Anglo-Saxons from their artefacts’?
It explores the lives of the Anglo-saxons, what happened at Sutton Hoo and what we can learn from it, and a creative ‘write like a Historian’ assessment, perfect for Year 7.
It features a fully resourced workbook and 5 sets of lesson slides.
This also makes use of resources from the British Museum’s powerpoint on the artefacts found at Sutton Hoo.
