An editable Google slides assembly presentation for use to mark VE Day 80th anniversary 2025.

Suitable for both KS1 and KS2 with extra questioning and discussion aimed at KS2 if needed.

Detailed notes for each slide included to help deliver the assembly presentation. Visuals and Wigits used to be simple and help SEND and EAL children access. Explanation of what VE day and World War Two in simple terms for children to understand. Focus on war and peace, and how war affects the world today still.

Please note: This is a simple overview of WW2 children. It does mention Nazi Germany but does not go into any detail of the huge devastation they caused and the impact they had on many people and minority groups. This presentation focuses more on VE day and celebrating the end of war.
