This set of resources helps teachers and children explore how creative activities can support mental wellbeing. These resources are divided into four topics based on the different areas of research and evidence for how the arts can help support wellbeing - Arts for Relaxation; Arts for Managing Emotions; Arts for Social Connection and Arts for confidence.
The resources outlined in this pack provide a practical toolkit for practitioners and teachers working in schools to support children’s wellbeing. They are primarily aimed at Key Stage Two, however the activities may be used across a broader range of age-groups. The programme seeks to equip teachers with effective, research-informed strategies to positively impact their students’ approach to mental wellbeing and creative activities.
