3+ Weeks of English Planning
From prediction based on Books covers, to reading fluency for poetry, then planning, writing, editing, performing and publishing writing.

Poetic Features:
Acrostic Poems (like the Book), Rhythm, Rhyme, Assonance, Alliteration, Onomatopoeia, Repetition

All based on the amazing book “The Lost Spells” by Jackie Morris and Rob MacFarlane.

Primarily pitched at LKS2, but would work equally well in UKS2, with a few minor tweaks.

What’s in the Pack?

• Lesson Plans for 12-15 sessions (depending on how they take to teach) as pdf

• A complete PowerPoint of all the lessons
  (I have removed the content with has the poem texts however these are clearly labelled for you to re-input)

• ALL lesson resources, sheets, guidance, activities etc. as pdf
  (This includes some adaptations for HA/LA children)
