There are two questions here, both looked at in detail to help SEND and low attaining students attempt the examination. The first is looking at how to answer an examination question on Lady Macbeth, the second on Macbeth’s soliloquy in Act 3, Scene 1. Each resource should form the basis of about two-three hours work. They would be suitable for students who are working from Grades 1-3. The focus for each is as follows: how to first approach the question; understanding the extract and character; how to form an examination answer. They could be done individually or in pairs. They can be printed out in A4 but A3 would be better, as students are asked to highlight on the text. Colour printing is also preferable but not essential. These would also be appropriate for cover work and homework.
