Engaging lesson to study a rap/hip-hop song.
MFL Music is now on all streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music…)
The song covers school subjects, opinions and reasons, the time and some cultural aspects such as ‘heure de colle’, number of a department and ‘banlieue’.
The French vocab corresponds to what is usually taught in High Schools when learning about the school topic. It is definitely more interactive with the Music. Lyrics written by a native speaker of French.

Gap fill as a worksheet when learners are listening to the song in .pdf and .ppt formats with additional exercises on the back.
One powerpoint with Learning intentions and Success criteria + plenary for a period worth of work. It contains the corrections of the worksheet.
Would work well for 10-14 years old.
