School Days Activity Sheets and Ideas are designed to support EYFS children as they explore themes of school, change, and themselves.
These sheets include activities such as colouring to make pictures of children look the same or different, dot-to-dot tracing to develop fine motor skills, sequencing a school day, and exploring feelings through drawing and talking prompts. An activity ideas sheet is included.
The resource encourages children to express thoughts and emotions about school, change, and making friends, linking closely to the EYFS areas of Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Understanding the World, and Communication and Language.
It provides opportunities for speaking and listening, early writing, and class discussions, whether used at the start of a new school year, when joining a new class, or reflecting on changes at the end of term.
