Key Stage 4 ~ GCSE Biology~ lesson on Controlling Body Temperature. In this lesson pupils will explain why body temperature needs to be kept constant, describe how body temperature is kept constant and explain what "antagonistic effectors are. They will relate this to what they have learned about homeostasis, negative feedback and the nervous system to reinforce their topic vocabulary. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the GCSE Biology AQA course.
