In this lesson pupils will compare heart transplants with artificial hearts, describe valves, pacemakers and artificial blood and explain the difference between heart failure and a heart attack. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the GCSE Biology AQA course.
