Key Stage 4 ~ GCSE Biology~ second of a two part lesson on Cardiovascular Disease. Part 1 is available here /teaching-resource/resource-12869212. In this lesson pupils will compare heart transplants with artificial hearts, describe valves, pacemakers and artificial blood and explain the difference between heart failure and a heart attack. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the GCSE Biology AQA course.
