Where do people live around the world? Let’s read, float, climb, and explore!

This Places People Live reading comprehension pack introduces young learners to the many different homes people build around the world. With three thoughtfully written texts (Starter, Standard, Stretch), children begin with core reading skills like retrieval and sequencing, and then move on to vocabulary, inference, and early reasoning.
Across all levels, readers discover that people live in all kinds of homes, such as in trees, on water, or in hot, sandy places. They learn that homes can be made from wood, stone, mud, or metal, and that every home gives people shelter and a place to live with their families.

What’s included:

  • 3 differentiated reading texts on the same topic
  • Matching comprehension question sets
  • Full answer key with skill tags
  • Traffic light self-assessment
  • Black-and-white, print-friendly format

From treehouses to houseboats, help young readers explore where people live and why!
