Pride Month assembly / tutor (form) time tutorial which looks at the importance of being able to be our ‘true selves’ by listening to Phyllis Akua Opoku-Gyima, also known as Lady Phyll. Lady Phyll is a co-founder and executive director of UK Black Pride and talks about the challenges she faced growing up as well as the importance of being an ally for the rights of others, the lesson uses a clip about the F1 racer Lewis Hamilton to demonstrate this. Some minor editing may be needed for use as an assembly. A sample of slides included is shown
