The resource has 6 phonics grid worksheets, each with 40 symbols alongside their corresponding words.
The grids include letters A to J across the top and numbers 1 to 4 down the side, allowing children to locate specific sounds and words using coordinates.
The worksheets support early phonics development, moving from single initial sounds (e.g., a for apple, s for sun) to blends (e.g., tr for truck) and then to three-letter sounds (e.g., str for string) and finally end consonant blends (e.g. mp as in lamp). The resource is beneficial for KS1 and SEND, offering structured phonics practice with visual support.
