William Shakespeare’s Othello tells the story of a brilliant general who marries Desdemona in secret. His ensign, Iago, pretends to be loyal but quietly plots to destroy him. With lies and tricks, Iago turns Othello’s love into jealousy and sets friend against friend. In the end, truth is revealed—but far too late.
