

Students examine the extent of support for the Nazis and focus on opposition to the Nazi regime from the youth groups (Edelweiss Pirates & Swing Youth), the Catholic and Protestant Church as well as from the military, workers and social democrats. Students then explain the many reasons why opposition to the Nazis was ineffective and limited.
