This monster-themed CVC sounds assessment resource for EYFS and KS1 includes activities to support and assess phonics and writing skills.
It features six black-and-white monster cards with their names, encouraging children to sound out CVC words, including some nonsense words.
Children can colour in their monster sheets for added fun.
Six matching colour monster cards help with picture recognition and supports children with colour choices.
The resource includes two worksheets: one where children match and colour the monsters and another where they copy and write the monster names.
