Children in Year 2 are required to use a ruler to measure using centimetres (cm) and apply their understanding through reasoning questions. This worksheet does this. There are images and lines to measure. Then an open activity where they can choose what they measure, which can be extended to ask them to order them by size (showing comparison skills). Finally, two reasoning questions will test their understanding.
