I use this in year 7 but it could be used in any year group. First couple of lesosns teachers lead…powerpoint and pull out the hat activities to go through what amkes a good/bad leader, practical lessons on good wamr up ideas and how to be a good leader. The students have a planning session where they plan their leadership sesison in groups, planning sheet included. Students then spend the rest of the unit teacher each other their leadership sessions and peer/self evaluate (forms attached). Always has worked really well and students have enjoyed this unit.
